Role Summary

H&G are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to work with our client Wincanton Sainsburys TU  based at their Bedford TU DC. This a temporary position with the consistency ,commitment & benefits associated with “full time work” you can enjoy the flexibility of temporary work but the security of working for a blue chip employer.

Responsibilities

You will be required to carry out a clothing  deliveries/primary collections to a range of Sainsburys stores.This will involve trunking work and will be dropping and swapping loads, no loading or unloading, communicating with transport to update on deliveries and ensure the work is completed on time.

Start times between 16-00 -19-00 Sunday to Friday

Rates of Pay. 

• Sunday to Friday between   £19.25 – £21.50
• Bank Holiday’s*   £22.50

Requirements

• HGV C+E Class 1
• Relevant experience  minimum 12 months
• Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Customer focused attitude
• Eligible to work in the UK
