Apprenticeship
We have partnered with likeminded training providers who focus on delivering what employers and individuals need.
Working as their partner, our providers enable companies to develop a productive, adaptable workforce with professional skills.
The LGV C+ E Apprenticeship programme helps drivers acquire their LGV licence and then perfect their skills to carry out their jobs effectively. We can assist employers who wish to upgrade existing employees’ skills or recruit new staff to, fill vacancies long term.
The Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver C + E Apprenticeship Standard develops the skills required to drive large goods vehicles, in a safe and fuel-efficient manner. It concentrates on the level of customer service that ensures that the right products are delivered at the right time, location, condition, and temperature (if required). It prepares them to work in an environment where they will need to use their own initiative, possibly work alone, during unsociable hours and shifts to meet those customer expectations.
Progression
