The Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver C + E Apprenticeship Standard develops the skills required to drive large goods vehicles safely and fuel-efficiently. It concentrates on the level of customer service that ensures that the right products are delivered at the right time, location, condition, and temperature (if required). It prepares them to work in an environment where they must use their own initiative, possibly work alone during unsociable hours and shifts to meet those customer expectations.
