Sexual Harassment Policy Statement
At HG Recruitment, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and respectful workplace for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, as defined by the Equality Act 2010, and we take proactive steps to prevent it. All staff, contractors, workers, and clients have the right to work in an environment free from harassment and are encouraged to report any concerns.
Our Commitment to a Sexual Harassment-Free Workplace:
- Respect and Dignity: Everyone is entitled to be treated with respect, free from harassment, and with access to redress if harassment does arise.
- Clear Reporting Procedures: We have clear, confidential procedures for reporting and addressing complaints related to harassment.
- Responsibility: Our Directors oversee our policy enforcement, with the support of HR, to maintain an open-door policy and a workplace where everyone feels safe to voice concerns.
- Disciplinary Action: Any incidents of sexual harassment or victimisation may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
- Regular Review: We review this policy regularly to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
If you experience or witness any form of sexual harassment at an HG office or involving an HG colleague or worker, please contact us so we can address the matter promptly and ensure a respectful, harassment-free workplace for all.
