Over Easter this year, we decided to organise a raffle to raise money for the Trussell Trust, who do an amazing job supporting those in need every day of the year.

Not only did the raffle allow us to continue supporting the Trussell Trust, it also provided us with an opportunity to say thank you to our key workers who have been working hard to serve local communities throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Prizes included a 40” Samsung Television, Bollinger Champagne, Easter Treats and a Scratch Card Hamper.

For every ticket sold, we doubled each persons chances of winning by matching their donation and buying them another ticket.

We are pleased to announce that our Easter Raffle raised £4000 for the Trussell Trust. This money will go towards supporting food banks nationally for families in need.

Who are The Trussell Trust?

The Trussell Trust do an amazing job every year. The charity supports a nationwide network of food banks by providing food and support to people in poverty. They do this while campaigning to end the need for food banks in the UK.

Last year, food banks in our network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. They do this by collecting, sorting and storing food while identifying people in need and providing them with vouchers.
