Following our support during this year’s World Mental Health Day on 10th October, the H&G team are over the moon to announce that Paul McCulloch has smashed his £2,000 fundraising target for CALM!

Paul, who works for H&G client Wincanton, is fundraising for the “Campaign Against Living Miserably” (CALM), which is a charity dedicated to the prevention of male suicide. He will be participating in the 20 mile “Lost Hours Walk”, which will be taking place on 26th October 2019.

Paul will be walking in memory of his step-father Adrian, who sadly took his own life in June last year.

At H&G, we’re leaders in driving and logistics recruitment, which is a mostly male-dominated industry. We donated £250 to Paul’s walk, which we’re delighted to hear helped push him over his target of £2,000!

After reaching his target, Paul said, “Thank you both so much for your wonderful donation. I only started out to get to £150 and I’m truly touched by the support and kindness that people have shown me and my family.

It does show that even in the darkest times, there is always hope and light”.

Let’s help Paul raise even more money for this excellent cause. You can still sponsor Paul by visiting his JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/paul-mcculloch1

Even a small amount would help in the fight against mental health stigma and male suicide.
