Halloween Spooky Monster Competition – 31st October
Get creative this Halloween and join our Spooky Monster Competition, with £200 worth of Smyths vouchers to be won!
We’re inviting children to design and create their very own spooky monster. They can draw it, paint it, colour it, build it or craft it – the spookier, sillier and more imaginative, the better!

How to enter
Let your child get creative and create their very own spooky monster! Once they’ve finished, take a clear photo of their creation and send it to our Chef Monster Collector at adrianna@h-g-recruitment.com. A parent or guardian must submit the entry, including the child’s first name and age.
Entries close 31 October 2026 at 23:59.
All creations must be the child’s own work. Handmade creations only – AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
Winners will be selected after the competition closes and the parent or guardian will be contacted.

Parents/guardians, simply take a photo of your child’s creation and email it to Adrianna@h-g-recruitment.com, including your child’s first name and age.

- The competition is organised by HG Recruitment Solutions.
- The competition is open to children of HG Recruitment Solutions employees, workers, candidates and followers. All entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
- Children are invited to create their own Spooky Monster. This can be a drawing, painting, colouring, model, craft or another handmade creation.
- Entries must be the child’s own work. AI-generated images or artwork will not be accepted. Parents/guardians can help with submitting the entry but should not create the entry on the child’s behalf.
- To enter, email a clear photo of the finished Spooky Monster to Adrianna@h-g-recruitment.comby 23:59 on 31.10.2026. Please include the child’s first name and age with the submission. Photos of children are not required.
- One entry per child. No purchase or registration with HG Recruitment Solutions is necessary to enter.
- Entries will be judged by the HG Recruitment Solutions team based on creativity, originality and Halloween spirit. Artistic ability is not the main judging criterion.
- There will be three prizes:
1st Place – £100 Smyths Toys voucher
2nd Place – £50 Smyths Toys voucher
3rd Place – £50 Smyths Toys voucher - Winners will be selected after the closing date. The parent/guardian who submitted the winning entry will be contacted using the email address used to enter.
- By entering the competition, the parent/guardian agrees that HG Recruitment Solutions may share the submitted creation/artwork on its website and social media channels in connection with the competition.
- Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. HG Recruitment Solutions reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equivalent value if necessary.
- HG Recruitment Solutions reserves the right to reject entries that do not meet these terms, contain inappropriate material, infringe another person’s rights or are believed to be AI-generated or not the child’s own work.
- HG Recruitment Solutions reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
- Personal information provided as part of the competition will only be used to administer the competition and contact the winners, in accordance with the HG Recruitment Solutions Privacy Policy.
- The decision of HG Recruitment Solutions regarding the winners is final.
- This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Smyths Toys or any social media platform on which it is promoted.
