HGV1, HGV2 and van driver jobs with Next

Yodel has been a great opportunity for me. I completed my HGV C+E licence during the pandemic, after being a van delivery driver for many years with a different company. After then starting a family, I was really stuck with how to return to work, but working with Yodel has given me real flexibility with shifts to suit around child care. The work is great as it’s trunking and I’m always given clear information on where I need to go.

Since working for HG for the last 4yrs it’s been enjoyable, a few anxieties with shifts but generally speaking the staff at the office have always been responsive and helpful. Looking forward to more positive times in the future.

Having been in the Transport & Logistics Industry for more than 20 Years, with HG I enjoy the team camaraderie and how we face into challenges together. Every day is a new challenge to accept and deliver. Advice, guidance, and support is there whenever you need it and our commitment of ‘small enough to care, big enough to make a difference’ really does make us who we are.

From the moment I registered, the process has been smooth and efficient. The team, especially Lauren & Vicky, has been incredibly supportive and responsive. They guided me through each step, ensuring I had all the necessary information and felt comfortable with my assignments. Working with H&G has been a positive experience, thanks to the excellent communication and professional service. I truly appreciate the dedication and assistance from the entire team. Keep up the great work!

I have worked for HG for approximately for 13 years and have been very pleased with my experience with H&G and it’s a great company to work for. They are very accommodating to my work life balance and the team are very nice and friendly towards you and will try and accommodate needs and shifts patterns.

I have worked with HG for 20 years. In my experience HG are very professional and caring and ensure I get regular work.
They have also helped me when I became very unwell in 2021 and supported me through this time. The Vicki, Lauren and the rest of the team are always helpful and friendly; and I regularly see them in the office and are always very welcoming. I can recommend working for HG, they well paid flagship clients and it’s a joy to work for them safely and compliantly. Gail has been very supportive over the years and I can call her anytime for advice or support. I feel like a person rather than just a number and I have been loyal to HG.

I have been working with HG for over two years now, based at the Evri Warrington hub.
This is a rare opportunity for newly qualified drivers to embark on their HGV driving career.
HG are very well-organised and are responsive to drivers’ demands, wherever possible.
Evri provides free training and guidance where necessary and helps drivers to progress from novice to excellence with support all the way.
Call them now, you have nothing to lose.

In my experience, HG Recruitment provide regular and consistent well paid work with many leading blue chip clients, and try to ensure that you are always kept busy.

I am a qualified HGV driver who was looking for a new role and got in touch with the HG recruitment team to see if they could help.
I was impressed with the personal experience I had, starting with a friendly informal phone call. At my face to face meeting I was introduced to some of the team, helping me to feel comfortable and onboarded with the agency, before talking through all the details of a potential new role. I then moved to the driver assessment where I met the experienced assessor at the site and walked through the various processes and site rules before being assessed on both driving ability and the safety, vehicle and site-specific procedures. I can confidently say the HG team is there to support you throughout and make you feel at ease.

I have worked for HG for the last 15 years, starting my recruitment career at 23 years old, Gail has always supported me throughout my time here, with our friendly approach and dedicated team I believe these are some of the reasons we are so successful. HG Management are always there to listen and give us any training we need and always encourages us to reach our goals.

I work on a fixed rota on nights and it’s great because I know what I’m doing each week. When I can, I pick up a 6th shift and get paid a premium for, which I put towards extra treats for the kids.
I have a start time I like and get on with all the site team. I hope to stay working with Yodel for a long time.
