The EVRI driving jobs we recruit for
EVRI’s parcel network needs drivers with different licences and levels of experience.
Whether you’re an experienced Class 1 driver, looking for EVRI Class 2 jobs, or searching for van driving work, there may be an opportunity to suit your background.
EVRI HGV jobs: Class 1 drivers
EVRI Class 1 work is primarily focused on moving parcels and trailers between hubs and distribution centres.
These routes can provide straightforward trunking and collections work, with opportunities across different start times and shift patterns.
For drivers who prefer regular HGV work without heavy store-delivery handball, EVRI Class 1 roles can be particularly attractive.
What you’ll need
- Full UK Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC card)
- Digital tachograph driver card
- No more than 6 penalty points, with no DD, DR or IN endorsements
- The right to work in the UK
Some EVRI Class 1 jobs welcome newly qualified drivers, subject to the requirements and driving assessment for the individual vacancy.
If you’ve recently gained your Class 1 licence, check the current vacancies to see if there’s something for you.
EVRI HGV jobs: Class 2 drivers
EVRI Class 2 roles can include collections, depot-to-depot movements and deliveries to local distribution units.
Working patterns vary between sites, with full-time, part-time and flexible shifts available depending on current demand.
What you’ll need
- Full UK Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC card)
- Digital tachograph driver card
- No more than 6 penalty points, with no DD, DR or IN endorsements
- The right to work in the UK
Selected EVRI Class 2 jobs are also suitable for newly qualified drivers, subject to assessment and the requirements of the specific vacancy.
EVRI van driver jobs
You don’t necessarily need an HGV licence to start driving within a large logistics network.
We also recruit for EVRI van driver jobs when vacancies are available, providing opportunities for drivers with a standard UK driving licence to work within parcel and distribution operations.
Van roles can involve collections and deliveries between sites, with working patterns and individual requirements varying by depot.
What you’ll need
- Full UK driving licence
- A safe driving record
- No more than the permitted number of penalty points stated in the vacancy
- The right to work in the UK
- The ability to meet any additional insurance or experience requirements listed for the role
Van driving can also provide a useful starting point if you want to build a longer-term career in transport before progressing towards an HGV licence.
