The ASDA roles we recruit for
ASDA’s logistics network moves everything from fresh food to clothing and online orders – and it runs on drivers. Whether you’re Class 1 or Class 2, there’s likely a route for you.
ASDA HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers
HGV Class 1 driving roles with ASDA typically involve store delivery work from regional distribution centres.
You’ll collect your vehicle from the depot before completing scheduled runs to ASDA stores. Depending on the route, this may include handling roll cages and returning empty cages to the distribution centre.
It’s a good fit for experienced drivers looking for consistent HGV work with established routes and regular shifts.
What you’ll need
- Full UK Category C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC card)
- Digital tachograph driver card
- At least 12 months’ Class 1 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- The right to work in the UK
Store delivery involves moving roll cages, so a reasonable level of fitness matters alongside the licence.
Don’t meet the requirements?
If you don’t have the licence or the experience we’re looking for, check out our training options. HG runs licence acquisition courses and JAUPT-approved Driver CPC training, and a good number of the drivers now working at ASDA sites came to us needing exactly that.
