Warehouse Operatives/ Parcel Sorters urgently needed
H&G Recruitment, a leading recruitment expert in the Industrial sectors of Transport & Logistics have an immediate requirement for experienced Warehouse operatives/ Parcel Sorters to work with our prestigious client based in Shaw, Lancashire We require flexible workers who are looking to work Day or Night shifts. If successful, you would be required to complete Warehouse duties. This work would suit candidates looking for a professional contract and great rates of pay.

Rates of pay :

• Day Rate (08-00-17-00)                                            £7.83     
• Night Rate (01-00-08-00)                                          £9.75
• PM Rate ((17-00-01-00)                                            £8.23 
• Bank Holiday & 7th Shift (08-00-17-00)                    £8.83     

The Role
A great opportunity within Parcel Sortation Warehouse. You will be required to be available to work any 5 days out of 7 shifts(can include weekends
You will be part of our team of Sorters in a warehouse environment who receive, pick, pack and load our customers’ parcels using systems that enables us to offer our customers an excellent service. Checking parcels Distributing inbound and outbound parcels Loading goods on to delivery vehicles
Full training will be given on your first day.
The role can be very physical and you are expected to be on your feet for most of the shift. Full PPE will be given

•     Experience in a similar warehouse role
•     A good understanding of manual handling practices
•     Good understanding of the working time directive
•     Flexible approach to work

•     A willingness to learn
