We are pleased to be recruiting a Transport Despatch clerk for our client in Runcorn. This is a full time role with the potential to become a permanent position
Salary: £12.48 ph Days and Overtime £19.03 ph after 42 hours, Nights £15.09 ph and Overtime £21.33 ph after 42 hours
Shift: 42 hours minimum per week,
Hours: Monday to Friday – 0600 – 1400, 1400 – 2200.
Day to Day duties:

• De brief all HGV / 3.5t driers. Report any issues/defects, speaking with any internal or external customers that may be effected.
• Provide administrative support for the transport office. You will be required to take inbound and outbound calls and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all activities are in accordance with current legislation, policies, procedures and best practices i.e. downloading tachograph cards and general administration duties.

Essential experience:
As a Transport clerk you will need to have proven transport or logistical experience, ideally within a similar role.
You will possess excellent administrative and organisational skills with a strong customer focus. You must hold a Category B drivers license and be able to drive a 3.5t sprinter van if required on occasions.
