We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior recruitment consultant to join our team in Newton le Willows. Working with the Branch Manager, Snr Recruitment Consultant, and onsite teams, we're looking for a proactive individual with strong administrational skills, who is looking to develop a career in recruitment. Your New role

Your overall Objective is to ensure the business delivers exceptional service to both candidates and clients and deliver efficient auditable administration at all times based on company standard procedures. Maximising the quantity and quality of candidates recruited to fulfil our client requirements whilst maintaining H&G Recruitment compliance standards

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administration – Provide comprehensive administrative support to the branch operations including maintaining databases, supporting the planning teams in all administrative tasks and maintaining accurate and up to date data for candidates and clients
  • Recruitment – Complete our end to end recruitment process for applications received from Job Boards ,H&G Website and CV searching facilities. Maintaining a pool of skilled, motivated and professional temporary workers and ensure compliance with any relevant laws and operating standards
  • Service –  Ensure all current clients receive outstanding customer services and their recruitment needs are met in a timely efficient  manner.
  • Compliance – Manage and maintain an auditable trail of registrations complying with any relevant laws and operating standards which include client specific legislative criteria.

Skills

  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to prioritise tasks and achieve KPI’s
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a reactive environment
  • Excellent organisational skills for example diary management, coordinating meetings, filing, administration/clerical systems management
  • Creative and Positive attitude

Experience/Qualifications

Desired

  • Previous proven experience working in a fast paced customer focused service environment
  • Previous transport/logistics recruitment experience and knowledge of driver’s hour regulations

Essential

  • Excellent command of the English language both oral and written

This role will be working Monday to Friday and would suit an outgoing Graduate calibre candidate who is looking for a role in which to progress. In return you will receive £25,000 per annum (DOE), conversion bonus scheme, 28 days holiday, pension, full training including industry recognised courses. 

For the right candidate the position is open to progression to recruitment consultant as the branch grows under a full training programme.
