HGV C+E Drivers

H&G are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Warrington with immediate starts This is full time, 12 months minimum contract opportunity for drivers to work on fixed patterns. Working  5 out of 7 in any one of the combinations of shift patterns. Lots of Overtime and regular 6th shift working is available. The work is clean and generally involves trunking with one or two collections and no handballing.

New pass drivers with at least 3 months experience are welcome to apply.

Day to Day duties

You will be required to carry out Trunking duties to DC’s and RDC’s

In return for your commitment, we offer:

• Monday -Friday contracts 11-00-13-00 Start Times

Estimated salary based on 45 hours per week      £39k pa

• Tuesday – Saturday contracts hours to suit between  14-00 -2000 Start Times

Estimated salary based on 45 hours per week      £40k pa

• Sunday – Thursday contract 20-00-01-00 (nights)  Start Times

Estimated salary based on a 45 hours per week     £42k pa

The ideal person to join our team will have

HGV C+E Class 1

Newly Passed drivers accepted

Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements

Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards

A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive

Excellent geographical knowledge

Customer focused attitude
