HGV C+E Driver
Rates of Pay.
Qualifying rates PAYE
- Monday – Friday Days 06:00 – 17:59 £16.50
- Monday – Friday Nights 18:00 – 05:59 £17.25
- Saturday 06:00 – 23:59 £17.00
- Sunday 00:00 – 05:59 Monday £18.00
- Bank Holiday’s* £18.00
H&G are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Bedford. This is full time opportunity with day & night shifts available across seven days .
Day to Day duties
You will be required to complete trunking work and will be dropping and swapping loads, no loading or unloading, communicating with transport to update on deliveries and ensure the work is completed on time.

The ideal person to join our team will have
- HGV C+E Class 1
- 1 years relevant experience
- Full HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
- Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
- A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Customer focused attitude
- Eligible to work in the UK
