HGV Class 2 drivers

H&G Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for full time/Part time ongoing roles to work with a prestigious, Blue Chip organisation based in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for experienced drivers who have a passion for customer service to join our client's team in Milton Keynes.
You will be carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our client within home delivery as part of a two man crew.
The position will involve shift working (Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat on rotation). 48 hours per week with start times between 0500 and 0600. 
We require ongoing drivers for immediate starts to work for our client on a ongoing contract.
This role is working on behalf of a kitchen company and involves heavy lifting!
So please only apply if you are comfortable with lifting heavy good including worktops, whites goods and washing machines.
All deliveries are supported by a drivers mate, when required a two man lifting. 3- 8 maximum drops per day.
This is a client facing position which will require good customer service skills alongside all relevant experience, being smart and presentable is must due to going to customer homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive in a safe, responsible and courteous manner at all times, and in accordance with company policy & procedures, legislation and traffic regulations
* Carry out a physically demanding role, whilst providing a positive customer experience
* Carry out vehicle checks and ensure that defects are reported immediately and complete all paperwork in line with procedure
* Report to the traffic office at start and finish of shift for debrief
Rates of Pay: 
Days – £11.00 Paye, £12.00 Limited Monday – Friday
Saturday £16.50 PAYE, Limited Driver £18.00
Sunday £18.00 PAYE, Limited Driver £19.50
