Class 1 HGV Driver

Immediate Start HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers –

A fantastic opportunity for Class 1 (C+E) drivers to work with our prestigious client based in Corby We require flexible drivers who are looking for Day and night shifts to join our team for on-going, regular store delivery work that stays busy all year. Evening, Early/Late morning and afternoon shifts available. This work would suit an experienced driver looking for a professional contract and great rates of pay.

General Duties 

• Drivers must be able to work any 5 from 6 days on a rota basis 
• All class 1 work delivering to stores
• 04:00+ Starts
• Driver will be required to unload cages
• 5 to 10 drops per day

You will have  

•     Class C+E Drivers – minimum 6 months driving licence pass & minimum 3 months driving experience.
•     No more than six points on license (for any license class).
•     No DR / DG / DD Codes on license present or expired.     
•     Full HGV C+E/C licence held for at least one year
•     Digital tacho card
•     A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
•     Good understanding of the working time directive
•     Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
•     Flexible approach to work
•     Customer focused attitude
•     Superb presentation standards
•     A willingness to learn
•     DQ Card (DCPC)

Rates Of Pay (PAYE)

• Monday to Friday  £11.00, 
• Saturday £13.00,
• Sunday £16.00
