Charlotte and Gail, directors at H&G Recruitment, were delighted to attend the Doddie Weir Testimonial Dinner at Battersea Evolution in London on 6th November 2017.
The evening raised funds in support of the Doddie Weir Discretionary Trust, and was comprised of “The Good, The Bad & The Very Ugly” from the worlds of international rugby and comedy for a ‘Night of Laughter’, accompanied by a three-course meal.
Doddie Weir’s Discretionary Trust was established in 2017 with the support of his family and friends in response to Doddie being diagnosed as suffering from Motor Neuron Disease.
The Trust aims to serve as a way of giving the Weir family the practical help they need, while raising the profile of this degenerative condition. They hope, in the future, to launch a charitable Foundation to raise funds both to investigate the causes and potential cures for MND and help individuals suffering from MND live as fulfilled of a life as possible.
