Attend a remote interview so that we can get to know you better and match you to the perfect position.

Provide relevant certificates and qualifications. Your ID is then verified via a government-approved ID platform such as Trust ID.

Apply for a DBS check (if required).

Registration

Receive a key information document.

Complete the necessary skills or theory tests online or at one of our branches.

Attend a face-to-face interview and meet our branch team.

Provide the necessary documents to allow us to place you into your new role quickly, including the right to work checks.

Receive a clear and comprehensive contract of employment and handbook.

Complete a drug and alcohol test (if required).

Onboarding

Receive in-depth advice on our processes, procedures, and expectations.

Complete safety training including manual handling, site assessments and inductions to ensure your safety from day one of starting.

Meet the HG team who will be supporting you every step of the way.

Complete the necessary safety searches and ensure you follow the safe systems of work.

Receive modern slavery awareness training.

Engaging with the Registration Process

Workers must be legally compliant to become part of our team and community. Candidates should be prepared to willingly engage in drug and alcohol tests and pursue opportunities with like minded employer but due to the sensitivity of certain of those opportunities you may need to partake in a DBS check ( Disclosure and Barring) policy that you will be asked to take a drugs and alcohol test especially if you are operating or working around machinery or vehicles .

You will receive training around Anti Modern Slavery and we may regularly check your understanding of this subject. Your health and wellbeing at work is important to us and the clients we work with and so it is often policy. Your data is safe with us and we are conscious of our responsibility around this and will protect your personal information in line with the government’s GDPR requirements and our accreditation with Cyber Essentials Plus.

Our Training Accreditations

I work on a fixed rota on nights and it's great because I know what I'm doing each week. When I can, I pick up a 6th shift and get paid a premium for, which I put towards extra treats for the kids. I have a start time I like and get on with all the site team. I hope to stay working with Yodel for a long time.
